Is this QR code safe?
See where a code really leads before you open it. Free, private, and nothing gets opened.
What we check
- Every redirect between the code and the final page
- How long ago the website was registered
- Look-alike spellings of banks, payment and parking brands
- Raw IP addresses, hidden credentials and risky domain endings
- Whether it's a registered Kizmo code, and who owns it
Does the checker open the website?
No. It requests only the headers of each address to follow redirects. It never loads or runs the page, so nothing on it can affect you.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The QR code in your image is decoded in your browser. Only the link inside it is sent for the redirect and domain checks.
Can the checker guarantee a code is safe?
No tool can. It flags the strongest warning signs of scams. A code with no warning signs can still lead somewhere you shouldn't enter payment details, so stay alert.
What does a brand-new domain mean?
Scam sites are usually registered days before they are used. A payment page on a domain that is weeks old deserves suspicion.
