Most happy customers mean to leave a review and forget. A QR code at the moment of delight, on the receipt, the counter or the takeaway bag, removes every step between intent and the review form.

## Steps

1. Open your Google Business Profile, choose 'Ask for reviews', and copy the short review link.
2. Paste it into the generator. A dynamic code lets you redirect it later if Google changes the link format.
3. Print it with a clear call to action such as 'Enjoyed your visit? Review us on Google'.
4. Put it where people wait: the counter, receipts, invoices and delivery bags.

**Recommended size:** 25-35 mm on receipts and cards; 50 mm on counter signs.

## Tips

- Ask in person as well. The code works best as the follow-through to a spoken request.
- Place the code by the exit or on the receipt, when the experience is complete.

## Common mistakes

- Offering discounts in exchange for reviews. Google's policies prohibit incentivised reviews.
- Linking to your Maps listing instead of the review form, which adds extra taps.

## Frequently asked questions

### Where do I find my Google review link?

In your Google Business Profile, select 'Ask for reviews' (or 'Get more reviews'). Google shows a short link you can copy and paste into the generator.

### Is it allowed to ask for reviews with a QR code?

Yes. Asking every customer is fine. Offering rewards for reviews, or only asking customers you expect to be positive, goes against Google's review policies.
