## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need a card for the free plan?

No. The Free plan needs only an email address and includes 3 dynamic codes, unlimited static codes, tamper alerts and verify pages. It never expires.

### How does the 7-day trial work?

Your first paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial. You add a card at checkout and are charged only when the trial ends. We email you 2 days before, and cancelling from the Billing page before then means you pay nothing. There is one free trial per customer: if you have had a trial or a paid plan before, including on an earlier account with the same email, a new paid plan starts billing straight away.

### What happens to my codes if I cancel or downgrade?

Every printed code keeps redirecting to its last destination. You keep access to your codes and exports; paid features like the check screen branding and longer analytics switch off, and you can't add codes beyond the Free allowance.

### Do annual plans renew automatically?

Yes, so a busy owner's codes never lapse, but never by surprise. We email you 7 days before every annual renewal, and you can cancel in one click from the Billing page.

### Can I change plans later?

Any time. Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades credit the unused time to your next invoice.

### Who handles payments and tax?

Creem is our merchant of record. Prices are shown before tax: where sales tax or VAT applies, Creem adds it at checkout at the rate for your country. They process cards securely and send invoices you can download from the Billing page.

### Do you discount for charities and schools?

Yes. Registered charities, schools and community groups get 50% off any paid plan. Email sales@kizmo.io from your organisation's address.
